Hi,

My operating system is Windows XP and I use open office software package. I want to practice report builder program and learn to manage oracle reports. Please tell me how to get good  oracle report builder open office use and how to install server in my computer?

The Oracle Open Office has a flexible and easy database client and it is easy to create and build database report/sheets from HSQL,Oracle, MySQL and any other types.

If you want to download it please follow the below URL:
https://extensions.openoffice.org/project/reportdesign

To install the server on computer please follow the below steps:
– Download a free server operating system. You can use the following link:
https://www.ubuntu.com/
– Burn the files into a CD.
– Insert the CD in the computer and restart your PC.
– On startup choose the option to boot from CD.
– Install the system in the computer.
– Follow the instruction that appears on the screen.
– Remove the CD from your PC once the setup is finished.
– Restart your computer again.
– Connect the server to your internet.
– You can start with your server.
