Hello,
Text to Speech engines are basically software which converts or transforms raw text messages into sound or speech. Talking about Bada 20, Bada is an operating system developed by Samsung itself. This operating system usually supports Samsung smart phones and tablets. 20, on the other hand, is clearly 2.0. It is the current version of the Bada Operating System.
Text to speech engine for bada 2.0 means that it is a text to speech engine exclusive for the Bada OS version 2.0. Besides that, text to speech engines does not support translation of different languages. Naturally, it only reads or speaks what you have written in your mobile device.
I hope this helps.
Hello Janajacobb,
The TTS (Text to speech) engine for Bada 2.0 is a program that allows speaking a custom phrase input by the user on the settings page. (Example you input “Hello my name is Jana”) when a certain button is touched, they should speak that phrase it could be a male or female voice it depends on what you chose in the settings panel. Well about the translation of different language its still on the process I suppose.
