When I try the installation in silent mode then the error message “the local BEA product is corrupted, please contact Oracle support or select a different location,” comes up. How to solve this problem?

The Local BEA Product Registry Is Corrupted, Error And Fix In Oracle

This error occurs when the ‘silent.xml’ file is having a problem in its code. Check yours with the image below, they both should match (Keep in mind the syntax).

If the file match and there is still a problem in installing, then try re-downloading the files.

[The above solution works for Linux 64 bit and version r12].
