Is there any audio cutter Mac software to shorten audio files

Dear,

I'm a Mac user. I want to shorten some audio files as per my necessity. Is there any audio cutter Mac software to help me out on this? I need to keep the audio quality same as the source file after cutting.

Hi Frank,

Yes there is some software available to cut audio files in Mac. Though I believe that free versions have some limitations, so better idea would be to buy a full version for this. The best I would suggest is Magic Cutter for Mac. You could also try Macsome Audio Splitter, Ainsoft MP3 Cutter etc.

Hi 

I have found a work around for this problem. You could use all round audio editing freeware program like audacity, but I think it is not the most efficient and convenient way. I suggest you use mp3directcut which is likely to be the best of your main need. It is very simple to use, very portable and lossless even on less powerful computers. Thanks
