Hello! I have an Asus NAS on the network, with a 4 TB hard drive. I want to back up the files, and access the NAS through the FTP and download the needed files on a daily basis. The problem is that I must download all the files every day, while I only want the new files, from the current day. I need to know if there’s a software on the market, which could automatically download these files on a daily basis. Please let me know if there’s such a program on or any way I could download only the recently changed files from the server.
Is there any Program to download files from Asus NAS?
Hallo Maritess,
If you need to be doing a backup of your data on daily basis, then I guess what you will need to be doing in an incremental backup, and not transferring files from the internet using the file transfer protocol or downloading the files. For the first time you will be required to do a full backup and the second time onwards you will do incremental backups which you can set the times intervals for doing so. And with that you will need to run the backup from the PCs on your network so as to back up the data to NAS.
Otherwise I will suggest that you try idrive or mosy in case the option above does not work for you.
