Hello,

Is there a code for JavaScript ram detect? I would like to make a program that will detect the capacity and ability or a ram. I am making some research but those codes are not accurate and non working. I wish you could share your expertise in java scripting.

Is there a code for JavaScript ram detect?

Hi Kathryn,

 

JavaScript does not have any capability or any code available to detect a machine's RAM or any other hardware details. Its capability is limited to web page functionality, like actions or events, and software detection, such as Operating Systems and applications. Though the reliability of the codes depend on what Web Browser and its version you are running the script and your security settings.

 

You can try using Java applets or ActiveX controls to detect hardware specifications.
