Hello Shannon,
You will need to do the following to resolve the error that you are getting when using Skype:
-
Either perform an update of the Skype application you are using on your computer,
-
Or you can go ahead and uninstall it completely from your computer, and then download the latest version that has the codecs that are missing and then install it.

Hello Shannon Larry,
The codec conflict problem usually occurs if the required codec is not installed or missing from the computer. So I would suggest you to update the version of Skype. You can do it easily by turning on the automatic update option. For that, you need to sign in at first then from the menu bar select Tools and after that from Option you will find Automatic updates under the Advanced tab. Now turn on the automatic update option. Hope this could help you to fix your problem.
Thank you.
