There is a problem with installing Windows Intune Setup

Hi,

There is a problem with installing Windows In tune Setup. The setup was installed smoothly. Suddenly an error message appeared indicating the error “The software cannot be installed, 0X80cf402c”. I cancelled the installation and found the same message again. I do not understand the message. What should I do?

Please help me.

There is a problem with installing Windows Intune Setup

Hello Nelson,

To resolve that issue, you will need to run an elevated command prompt and after that you will run the following:

 

netsh win http set proxy <proxy name or IP>:<port>

 

For instance:

 

netsh winhttp set proxy 10.1.10.1:8080

 

After that you shouldn't get the issue. So go to the command prompt and try it.

There is a problem with installing Windows Intune Setup

Hi Dear,

Please check that if you have installed any other firewall other than windows original. If you have installed then allow for there to install it.

And one other thing that if you are installing it by any guest user so please change your user first, means run administrator then try to install this software.

If you see this again then check your Installation package.

Also check your remaining disk space. Sometimes disk space becomes full and installation could not continue.
