Windows 8 would have three versions: Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and the ARM version which is now called Windows RT. What is the expected release date of Windows 8?

Three versions of Windows 8.

According to the news around us, we can expect Windows 8 to be launched sometime in mid-late 2012. According to the recent rumors Microsoft 8 is coming with more advanced and sophisticated features in October 2012. Bloomberg Reports also confirmed that Windows 8 has undergone several tests on both Intel and ARM processors which is expected to be released in October this year. Microsoft may release Windows 8 during this summer which is indicated by the latest report of ComputerWorld.

Three versions of Windows 8.

Hello,

 

Yes there are three types of windows 8 Windows 8 for x86, Intel/AMD Windows 8 Pro for x86, Intel/AMD

Windows RT for ARM so far windows 8 is more energy efficient that the windows 7 the release date  October 30, 2012 and the  January 9, 2018 will be the extended development of the operating system.

Three versions of Windows 8.

Windows 8 is a version of Microsoft Windows operating system part of the Windows NT family of operating systems developed by Microsoft. Its development began in 2009 before Windows 7 was released and was announced at CES 2011. On August 1, 2012, Microsoft Windows 8 was released to manufacturing. It was on October 26, 2012 when it was released for general availability.

Unlike Windows XP which has a quite successful career and also which Microsoft ended support just two years ago, April 8, 2014, Windows 8 had an unfortunate short life. Support for Microsoft Windows 8 ended on January 12, 2016. If you need to have a continued support, you need to upgrade to Windows 8.1. Microsoft Windows 8 has the following hardware requirements:

• * 1 GHz processor or faster with PAE, NX, and SSE2 support
• * 1 GB RAM for 32-bit and 2 GB RAM for 64-bit
• * Graphics adapter should support Microsoft DirectX 9 and WDDM 1.0 driver
• * 16 GB free hard drive space for 32-bit and 20 GB free hard drive space for 64-bit

There are three different versions of Microsoft Windows 8. They are Windows 8, Windows 8 Professional, and Windows 8 Enterprise.
