Titanium was Unable to Remove a Threat

My Trend Micro Titanium 2012 was "Unable to Remove a Threat" and I do not know what to do next.

Please help.

Titanium was Unable to Remove a Threat

All you need to do is to perform a full scan of your system and try to remove the threat. If after the full system scan Titanium is still not able to remove it, click on "More details" and remove the threat manually.

If the problem persists, download and install "HouseCall" (a free scanner from Trend Micro). After the installation, run a quick system scan. Once your threat has been detected you can then remove it.

If the problem still does not get resolved after the quick system scan using "HouseCall", restart your computer in "Safe Mode with Networking" and run a full system scan. Once the threat has been detected, it can be removed. You can now restart your computer to go back to Normal Mode

After removing the threat you can choose to either keep the free scanner or uninstall it.

Titanium was Unable to Remove a Threat

 Dear Quinn,

It might be feasible that you did not run the full scan.

Hence please follow the steps mentioned below to get past the issue that you are currently experiencing.
 

1.  Open the application and click on the arrow next to Scan. Select Full Scan from the populated list.

2. If the issue persists, then follow the below mentioned steps to fix the same.

a. Run the HouseCall online scanner after booting the computer to Safe Mode with Networking.
b. Click More Details and look for the instruction to remove the infected  file manually.
