Please guide me on how to fix a 442 VPN error for the virtual adapter using the Cisco VPN client In windows 7. The error is shown as –

To fix 442 VPN error for the virtual adapter

Buddy, the problem is of Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service‘s fault. And to fix this follow these simple steps to fix 442 VPN error for the virtual adapter as –

1) Stop Cisco Systems, Inc. VPN Service.

2) Stop and disable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Service.

3) Restart Cisco System, Inc. VPN Service.

4) Launch VPN Client again, and the problem is gone.

These 4 steps will surely remove the virtual adapter 442 error.
