1. Linux.org has content that enables the learner to use an interactive method of studying. It has some free courses that might interest you.
2. BeginLinux.com is site that focuses on self learning. It has a wide array of courses online to chose from.
3. About.com also offers a course called Guide to Linux and it specially designed for beginners. The course spans through 14 weeks.
4. Red Hat provides different training and online certification programs.
5. The Linux Foundation has a huge list of online courses. They have a tool which is designed specifically to assist the user in choosing the right course for them.
