Hi and good day TechyV users and friends!
I am having problem with choosing which would be my antivirus on my computer at home. My friends suggesting me many examples of antivirus that confuses me what would I choose. My question is, what would be the best antivirus for me? Are there available antivirus home edition versions? Any help would be appreciated.

Top Antivirus for home PC
Hello,
Norton has a good track record on fighting malicious programs and it is a well-known name in the realm of anti-virus products. Kaspersky is also a good one which successfully detected world-wide virus attacks. Yet, McAfee is another competitive name. All 3 have home versions and all 3 are mature products. You can choose any of the three.
But, regardless of whatever anti-virus product (home edition) you purchase, there are some basic tips that can help you best use it on your PC.
-
Scan your PC on a regular basis, at least once a week.
-
Keep your anti-virus product on at all times especially while you are online.
-
Whenever you use an external storage device (i.e. pen drive, portable hard disk, CD, DVD, etc) perform some scanning on it.
-
Regularly download new virus definitions as there are always people making new virus programs. Your anti-virus product will have an easy-to-use feature that will help you download new virus definitions from the Internet. It is with virus definitions that your anti virus product will become aware of newly created malicious programs out there.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Parisi
