Toshiba webcam application and drivers download??

I am using a Toshiba laptop and I used to chat with some friends. I tried to launch the webcam but it said it needed a driver to use it. I don't know where to get it. Can someone please send me links on where to download it.

Toshiba webcam application and drivers download??

Hi Wayyne!  Here are some sites where you can download Toshiba Web Camera Applications.

Some of these are freeware, some are not.  You can choose the one that suits you.  After installing it, just follow the next instructions.  I hope I have helped you.

Then follow these instructions:

Click Start > All Programs or Programs > Toshiba folder > Utilities > Web camera application.

If the application opens, but minimizes automatically to one edge of the screen, hover your mouse over the utility to open it.

Look for the icon that looks like a camera and a video camera, click it to start the webcam.  To capture images, click the camera icon, otherwise if you want to record a video, click the video camera icon.

To open the settings panel, click on the icon of a camera with sliders underneath it.  The vertical tab allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast and other settings.

Good day!

 

That will be sad if you can't use the camera because the system requires a driver in order the camera will be functional, therefore to resolve this follow these simple steps :

 

A. Click this link to redirect you to the official driver download page of Toshiba (https://support.toshiba.com/)

B. When you are now in the website, Locate and select a "Category" then Choose from "Family" then Choose "Model" then click  "Go".

C. Locate and download the Driver for the Camera.

D. After the download, Install.
