Touch WIZ lags on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014

Hi there,

I have recently acquired Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 and the Touch WIZ feature lags so much that I am considering it unusable, it takes a while for a gesture to be accepted by this device, what do I do to make this feature perform faster on my device? What could the cause for the lags?

Touch WIZ lags on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014

Hello Deborah,

 

Many believe that, Touchwiz is not a good launcher/interface. I personally have nothing against TWZ, but any light weight launchers like NOVA or other free launchers usually give better performance than TWZ.

So, I suggest you explore play store and download any free launcher. Nova is good, it is my personal favourite.

 

However, if you don’t want to change it from TWZ, then here are some measures you can take to make TWZ a bit faster –

1.   Disable all animation

2.   Always use good memory and cache cleaner

3.   Keep minimum amount of widget on front Wallpaper

4.   Keep less number of desktop

 

Try these.. But again, better you explore Nova/other launcher
