I have been approached by a certain client who wishes to transfer some Lotus notes to hoisted Exchange. The problem is that I have no idea at all as I am not familiar with Lotus. To be honest, I have never seen it let alone use it.
I really need your suggestions for I don’t know where to start. I am also wondering if there is some tool that is suited for this function.
Transfer of Lotus Notes to hoisted Exchange
Hi Myrna,
Direct migration process from Lotus Notes to Exchange is currently not available. You will need to use hop processes for you to be able to do this. You can try to use the Free Transporter tools called Microsoft Transporter Suite to migrate your data from Notes to the staging Exchange server on the premise. Another option you can try to do is to use the free migration tools that is provided with Exchange online to migrate the data from one of your Exchange staging server to the online one.
You can also try to use a migration software like Quest Software to do the migration for you. Details can be found here https://partners.quest.com/English/.
