I wanted to transfer users who are from internal Crowd Directory to Active Directory or to any LDAP server but I don’t know how to do it. Can I possibly make an LDIF export of an internal Crowd Directory? If it is not possible, is there any other way?

Transferring users from internal Crowd Directory to Active Directory
Hello David Sims,
I guess you can do an LDIF export for the internal crowd directory so as to move its contents to the active directory, and the transfer you can do using the file transfer protocol.
But the crowd directory works well and I do not know why you have decided to migrate from it, though it has some quirks too. With crowd you have the ability to draw the internal users from the active directory, and you will also be able to add clients without going to the active directory.
Hope this helps.

Transferring users from internal Crowd Directory to Active Directory
Dear David,
Internal crowd directory saves user information and details in JIRA Directory. Configuration to Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP is useful to store your corporate business users data.
You can configure your JIRA directory to Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP directory by following these steps:
1. Log in in JIRA Directories as a user,
2. Select Administration (at top right of screen)
3. Go to Users and select User Directories,
4. Now add a directory of your choice i.e. Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP
5.Enter the server details like Name, Directory Type, Host Name, Port, Use SSL, Username and Password,
6. Save the directory settings,
7. Define the order of directories in User Directories.
I am sure this was helpful for you.
