Hi Chuck Moose,
Transferring files from your computer to your iPhone 4S or the other way around is pretty simple and easy. A lot of applications are already in the market that features data and file transfer between your computer and your iPhone 4S.
You can transfer it through a USB connector; you can even transfer it through WiFi. I’ll just give you some popular applications allowing you to transfer files specifically with your IPhone 4S.
Here are some:
1. Imtoo
2. Diskaid
3. Tipard iPhone 4G transfer
4. iJoysoft iPhone Transfer Ultimate
5. 4Media iPhone Transfer
Now, if you want to transfer files through any wifi, you have to FileAid. If your computer is mac, then you have to have cyberduck application installed.
In Windows:
1. Start the application > Click the Share button
2. Open My Computer
3. Type in the address bar the ftp address found in your phone.
Ex. ftp://*********************
4. Once your iPhone is detected, just drag and drop the files.
In Mac:
1. Click on the “Bonjour” tab and double click your device
2. Check the box which states “Anonymous Login” and click “Login”
3. Suit yourself, drag and drop the files

There are different ways to transfer files from your computer to your iPhone or any iOS device without using iTunes. First up, you can use EaseUS MobiMover. This program is available for both PC and Mac. Download the application from the following:
Install the application on your computer. Once installed, connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device then tap “Trust” on your device to continue. Next, start EaseUS MobiMover then select “1-Click Transfer”. On the next screen, you should see two devices: a computer and a mobile phone.
On the first device, set it as the computer and the second device as the mobile phone using the dropdown menu. After this, on the first device (computer), click “More” (…) then select either file or folder. Navigate to your computer and select the files or folders you want to copy then click “Next”. To begin transferring the files, click “Transfer”.
