We run MAC OSX 10.68 in our office. Our domain server currently has Open Directory, AFP, I Chat, SMB, DNS, the Web and FTP services and we would like to change into a Windows'08 domain with AD, We need to transfer the Open Directory and the DNS. Has anybody ever done this? Can you give me guides Please?

Transferring servers need assistance please
Hi Abbiegail,
You might find that at times it doesn't work to solve this you have to either get your Mac OSX system integrated into an Active Directory domain. Another option is to use an authentication and log directly to the windows of your computer then in a manual manner mount shared points host on Lion server.
You can also choose to install a Samba SMB Server on your Mac then have it configured to provide Active Directory logins authentications for Windows. Or opt to install a third party window's login replacement by the name pGina on your client. This will allow you windows authentication directly to a Mac server.
