Trying to uninstall Maya 2010

Hello,

I faced a problem when I try to uninstall Maya 2010. An error message shown there. The error message says:

” 1:5 2: Unable to obtain License Value. RegQueryValueEx returned 3:2”

Trying to uninstall Maya 2010

 

The solution is simple you will need to add registry key using regedit tool in order to uninstall Maya.

Using regedit navigates to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareAutodeskADLMAutodeskMaya2010AdLM

You need to create a DWORD with name “Type” and with value 1

Now refresh your desktop and try uninstalling the product, you should be successful this time. If not please logoff and try it again, this is done in order to take the registry value in effect.
