Turn the smart card option on and unable to log in

Hello,

Few days ago I was testing some settings and turned on the smart card option in order to find out what happens.

Now I am unable to log in into my pc and cannot do anything. I need to a way to disable this setting.

Plesae someone tell me what to do to get this problem solved.

Turn the smart card option on and unable to log in

Hi Cristian!

These are the steps for you to disable the settings of you Smart Card:

• Log on to your computer as the administrator

• Press your windows key and then your R key 

• Type REGEDIT in the field and press enter key

• Navigate to the folder "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionP"  folder

• Then highlight the SCForceOption folder right click on it  and choose delete

• Then finally restart your computer

Smart card are used to restrict access to your computer, it will be inserted into the computer which will read codes that allows you to access your computer, take note that if your computer has this functionality installed and still has no security then you can disable it but please do remember , in disabling this access you must be very careful for it may lead to systemwide issues for this is located in the registry, which is a very delicate place in your computer.
