If the scanner driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the scanner driver installed, scanning from the product will be available or not?

TWAIN-compliant 110 scanner driver for Canon

If you install scanner driver in Windows 8, and while Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 and keeping the scanner driver installed, then scanning from the product may not be available. In this case, for Windows 8.1 reinstall the scanner driver after upgrading. For more info visit the canon Europe products.
