Hello friends,

I desperately want to install Ustream Producer, but these two messages appear.

Ustream Producer.exe – System Error

The program cant start because QTCF.dII is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

OK

Ustream Producer
Ustream Producer was unable to start

Unable to find the QuickTime plug-in. Please
reinstall Ustream Producer

I have QuickTime installed, and this is a new version of windows. So, I don’t know why this is happening.

Please advise me.

Thank you all.

This has something to do with the DLL of Apple QuickTime Software.  One solution you can do is by doing a repair install of QuickTime.  To do that, you need to go to add remove programs and look for the QuickTime software.

You should see a repair button and just click it. After you finish repair install. Restart PC and perform the installation again.

If this method does not work try to make a SEARCH to your C: Drive for QTCF.DLL, and delete all those that do not belong to the Ustream Folder.

But before you do this,  perform a System restore point so that you can restore your system if something abnormal will happen after deleting the QTCF.DLL files that do not belong to the Ustream Installation Folder.

Hope this helps

Hello Damon,

The issues you are getting has to do with some DLLs associated with iTunes on your computer having issue. You will need to check iTunes and ensure that it is working properly. If it is not you should go ahead and try fixing the associated bugs. You can try reinstalling iTunes and see if that will resolve the issue, or you can try running CCleaner on your computer to fix all registry entry related issues.

Also, if you upgraded your OS recently, something could have happened with the DLLs of your system in the process. To resolve the issue if that is the case you will need to try performing windows updates as well as restoring the computer to an earlier time before the error started occurring.

Regards,

Carl
