What is the mechanism a web browser uses to control Web Cache? How can you prevent web browser Caching? What is the difference between forward cache and reverse cache? How is a forward cache different from a network aware forward cache? What are the legal implications of caching? What right could it possibly infringe upon?

Types of web browser caches and their relevance

There are two types of web caching mainly used in web browser.

Forward caching

Reverse caching

To understand the concept of Forward caching and Reverse Caching, check out the following image Forward caching is used to increase the speed and bandwidth of your network by storing the cache of  a webpage while reverse caching is used to reduces traffic on the internal network and speeds access for external users when the company hosts its own Web sites.
