Unable to connect my iPhone to car stereo Kenwood KDC-X994

Hi all,

I am using iPhone 5S and I am trying to pair this with my car stereo (Kenwood KDC-X994) using Bluetooth.

My car stereo supports Bluetooth devices and so I should be able to connect my iPhone to it. I have followed all the options, but nothing worked.

How can I make sure these two are compatible? Anybody has faced a similar issue? Please help me out to fix the problem. Thanks so much in advance.

Unable to connect my iPhone to car stereo Kenwood KDC-X994

Hi John, Now in order for you to resolve this John is to go to your mobile device menu. From your home screen, there should be a settings button where there’s an option for you to listen to the caller via the phone or speaker. This particular interesting feature of the phone also is applicable whenever you listen to music through your car speakers.  Then from your car stereo, press the SRC button. Everything is good to go and you can now listen to your music, John.
