My computer suddenly froze while trying to access my mails and download a .doc and .ppt file attachment. I cannot open or download anything from any site and always have the error below when doing it. Is this some sort of a bug or malicious threat? Please send some help. Thanks.
Windows Internet Explorer

Unable to download files from Internet Explorer
The problem might be the LAN connection, the computer or the browser. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. The first thing you have to do is check the connection if there's any problem. After that check all the attachment and downloads.
Go to My Computer click on Local C, check the windows and details. Try to download or open a site, if still not working. Right click on the Internet Explorer check the details, re-check the internet connection. Restart your computer, check the LAN connection then go to Internet Explorer and try it again.Â
Unable to download files from Internet Explorer
Hello Matthew,
I have searched for this error and apparently you get this error when you have a specific setting in your system settings. You have to go to your internet options and then go to advanced tab and then Security heading and check the box which says, 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk'. If that doesn't work for you, you should edit your CSV export cache and add some code.
Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate should be added.
It should work fine for you. I hope that was helpful.
Abe.
