I am receiving bunch of errors with Rhapsody. I already contacted customer support for both Rhapsody and Windows Media Player. When I attempt to open it again, it works fine at first. When I made a reboot and start Rhapsody again, it says I need to update some WMP components but when I run the update, it did not work. The update button is locked and I cannot click it because it is grayed out. I need to download songs but I was unable to. Do I need to cancel my subscription with Rhapsody? What can I do to fix this?

Hi,
You can try to install a fresh copy of software so, that can be work and update fine.
You can do this:-
Firstly you would to uninstall your program by clicking on Star button and clicking all programs and click on Rhapsody and then click on uninstall.
You can uninstall automatic method.
After then go to program file and delete Rhapsody folder.
Go to your user folder and unhide that file.
Find Rhapsody and Rhapsody SDK folder and delete them.

Unable to download updates in Rhapsody
You should just ignore the message for update for Rhapsody in case everything is working fine with the application. If you are able to download songs without possibly having to do the update then you should not worry about updating the application. If you need updates and the updates button has gone gray, then you can just access the Rhapsody site and from there download the updates and then install them manually.
Any further assistance pertaining if you want to unsubscribe will be well addressed by the customer support and I will advise that you contact them another time and let them know that you having trouble when using the application, it is your right to get it fixed by them.
