I'm not able to install Cisco Connect Software, using the Easy Setup Key that came with my E1000 router.
Removing and/or formatting the drive, will not solve the problem.
ReadyBoost file will also be seen, when you open the content of the drive.
What should I do?

Try to reset your router default settings by pressing and holding the reset button, for about 30 seconds.
Then release the button, and after 10 seconds turn on the router. Attach the modem to the port of the Internet and the computer to port 1 of the Ethernet on the router.
Launch one of your Internet browsers, such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer and on the address bar try to input this >http://192.168.1.1.

Now sign in to the router page, by leaving the username empty and by typing “admin” as the password of your router .

After resetting your router, try to perform the Cisco Connect. If it still not able to work, you can visit the Linksys Website and download Cisco Connect.

I read your problem. But I Think this is not very critical problem. Now I try to give some workable solution for your problem. Please read the below solution and work step by step then I think you will cover up the problem.

Frist you have to reset your router default holding the reset button for about 30 second. Then turn on the router. Attaching the modem to the port of the Internet and the computer in port 1 of the Ethernet of the Router. Then open one of your internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Google chrome etc and on the address bar input this >http://192.168.1.1

Then sign in to the router page ,to leave the username blank and type ‘admin’ as a password of your router.

If completing the resetting your router then try to perform the CISCIO Conect. If it does not work then you have to download the CISCIO Connect.
