Hi people, when I try to install or upgrade my OfficeScan 10.6 (OSCE) an error message is displayed as follows:

Error

 

Unable to install the OfficeScan client. There was an error copying

DwIoTrapNT.dll. Please contact your OfficeScan administrator for

assistance.

                                                                                       OK

 

PLEASE HELP!!! I really need to fix this ASAP.

Unable to install OfficeScan 10.6 Client with DWIoTrapNT.dll copying error

Hello Ney Steele,

The problem that you are having seems to be a known bug. Trend Micro company has released a hotfix to fix this issue regarding installation or upgrade process.

Download the hotfix. Once downloaded, run it and install it. After installation try again to upgrade or install OfficeScan. It should work perfectly.
