I am using a surveillance DVR system for security purposes. But I could not locate the entire videos that I recently saved on my DVR when connected with my PC. I tried searching but I was unable to find my videos when DVR is connected, but when I disconnect it from the PC, I can see the videos on my surveillance cam. How can I retrieve those video files and play it with my computer? Please help. Thank you.

Unable to locate video files when connected with PC
Hi Isaac,
You need a surveillance DVR software in your computer so it will play your video files. Ask assistance to dealer of the DVR camera. Second option is to download it to the internet. Try to search the brands maybe they upload some of there drivers.
What OS did you use in your computer? If your using an old windows XP then you will need a 3rd party software that enable to play this DVR Systems.
You can download .DVR reader try to check it if it works.
If you really want to retrieve the files and play it on the computer, please ask assistance first on your Hardware Vendor what's the best thing. Most of the DVR right now has an USB reader if you using an OLD DVR then you need to remove your DVR hard drive it's hustle on your part.
Thanks,
