Unable to log in to Admin Account: Windows Installer not accessible error

ERROR_INSTALL_SERVICE_SAFEBOOT 1652 Windows Installer is not accessible when the computer is in Safe Mode. Exit Safe Mode and try again or try using System Restore to return your computer to a previous state. Available beginning with Windows Installer version 4.0.

I don’t know what happened to my computer. I could not login to my account and my account is the admin. I was trying to install something in the safe mode because it’s the only way for me to login in the computer. I can’t login in my admin account anymore.

And as I continued a message just said that I couldn’t install it on a safe mode. “Windows Installer is not accessible when the computer is in Safe Mode. Exit Safe Mode and try again or try using System Restore to return your computer to a previous state.”

Please if there is a way to fix this please do teach me.

Hello Nelson,

Are you trying to install something in a safe mode? Because that may be the reason why you are getting that error. If the computer is malfunctioning when you boot normally then it is possible that there is a problem with the OS. If you made changes to the computer you will need to run System Restore to get rid of them.
