Unable to open HP printer services

Hi there,

When I turned on my PC on startup this error message box appeared on my desktop. After this I can’t open my HP printer services. The reboot is not working and nothing seems to work on my PC anymore. Does anyone have any idea how can this error may be solved? Also I would like to prevent this please.

Services

The HP Quality Center service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the performance logs and Alerts service.

It is normal for some services running on the computer to suddenly stop especially if there is nothing else to do and this is what they do by default. If because of this you can no longer do any print job on your computer, it would be best to reinstall your printer’s software and to update its driver later as well.

If your printer already comes with a setup CD then you can easily reinstall the driver and the application. Uninstalling the product will also remove the HP Quality Center service from the system and will be restored once the product is reinstalled. To begin, uninstall the HP printer application then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup.

Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files” and click OK. Wait until it is finished and restart your computer. Uninstalling the printer application will also remove the driver. Insert the printer setup CD in the optical drive and install the printer software again. It will install all the required tools and drivers for the product and will create the HP Quality Center service again.
