Unable to play AVI files on WMP

I was bored and got nothing to do and I decided to download movies this afternoon. But I can’t seem to play the AVI movie files that I downloaded using my Windows Media Player, so I am thinking that I could maybe play this using an AVI player. The problem is, I don’t have that software installed on my PC. How am I supposed to download AVI player so I can watch my downloaded movies? Can I just get the installer anywhere?

Unable to play AVI files on WMP

In order to play the .avi videos using Windows Media Player you have to install additional codecs for avi format. You can download these codecs from this link:

Alternatively, you can use Media Player Classic which has built-in capability of playing avi videos. VLC player is one of the best solutions to your option. It can almost all video formats (no need of additional codecs installation). You can get the latest version of VLC player from this page:

The reason why you cannot play the movie is the needed codec are not available in your computer. The best video and audio player I can suggest you is the KM player. In my personal experience it has very clear and good sounds as well as good picture quality. Latest 3D feature is also available with the player and it supports almost every video formats, Unlike the windows media player which supports very limited number of video formats. Download the player from below link and experience the features of KM player:
