I am running Windows 7 and I am trying to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX. Yet, I can't find it on the list of Add/Remove Programs. I have cleaned the registry with CCLEANER application. I also followed instructions for removing the registry keys of the following website https://faultbucket.ca/2010/12/adobe-flash-gpo-deploy-error-installax-exe/ and still, nothing worked out.
I am stuck, and I don't know how to remove Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX from my computer.
Can anyone help me?
It would be much appreciated!

Hallo Marcella,
Try the following workarounds and see if they will help you resolve the issue you are getting:
Solution 1:
Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller to get rid of the previous versions of the flash player that may be causing the issue.
-
To do that, you will need to follow these instructions in order to download and then install the Adobe flash player uninstallation successfully.
-
After that you try reinstalling the flash player.
-
Solution 2:
You can choose to manually get rid of the Flash player product code that may be causing the error that you are getting. The following are the steps you will use:
-
On your computer choose Start, and then type regedit in the Search text field.
-
Press Enter, and then back up your current Registry file.
-
In the Registry Editor dialog box, you will need to select File and then Export.
-
After that you will need to type a name for the file and then choose the location.
-
For Export Range, you will need to choose All, and the Click Save.
-
After that you will go to each parent key that has been referenced below and then get rid of the keys that match {91057632-CA70-413C-B628-2D3CDBBB906B}:

There are three (3) versions of Flash Player that you can install:
- Adobe Flash Player ActiveX
- Adobe Flash Player PPAPI
- Adobe Flash Player NPAPI
All three versions can be downloaded separately and they are used by different web browsers. The ActiveX version is the one used by Microsoft Internet Explorer. The NPAPI version is for Mozilla Firefox and the PPAPI version is for all Chromium-based web browsers like Google Chrome, Opera, and Maxthon.
If you need to uninstall a particular version, you can remove it in two ways: use the Flash Player uninstaller or use a third-party software like Revo Uninstaller. If you want to use the uninstaller, go to the Uninstall Flash Player page to download the uninstaller then just follow the instructions. You can also try the other method.
Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select the version of Flash Player among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer.
When it is finished, exit Revo then restart the computer.
