Unable to run the firmware update on my canon

Hi,

When I run the firmware update on my canon, I am getting this error.

 

Firmware update program

 

Update file error.

Please check the memory

card and reload the

battery and try again.

Also I am unable to find file the correct file properties. Please See the below screenshot.

I don’t think this the actual file info.

Please help me on this.

Unable to run the firmware update on my canon

Hi,

The following are the possible are the possible solutions to your problem:

1. In order to update canon firmware you need to connect it to the computer. Make sure it is detected by the computer.

2. It should have enough battery level to last through the whole process of the update. If the battery is finished in between the process then it will not be updated.

3. Make sure that the memory card is present during the update process. The updated data will be saved in the memory card. If it is not present then the update process will not be completed.

4. Check your internet connection and make sure you get a constant speed to complete the update process.
