Unable to save my personal models because of an unfamiliar error

Hi experts,

I need a help. I am unable to save my personal models because of an unfamiliar error saying "an unknown error occurred while accessing an unnamed file". Here is a screenshot of the error.

 

Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2012

 

An unknown error occurred while accessing an unnamed file.

 

                                                                  OK

However with this error, it still goes okay along with all functions alright, but the problem is that I can’t save new models.

So, I can say it’s almost worthless to me.

Looking for a help.

Unable to save my personal models because of an unfamiliar error

 

Hi,

It is clear from the error message that you did not name the file that you want to access. Every personal model has to be given a unique file name so that the program can distinguish them from one another. If you do not name the files then you will not be able to access them later. Remember the following points while using personal models:

1. After you start a model, name the file with a unique file name. It can be numbers or alphabets or even a combination of both.

2. Make a folder in your hard disk and save all your personal models in that folder only so that if you want to access any model you can do so quickly.

3. Make backups of all the models and save on an external disk.
