Unable to start Firefox and Google Chrome

Hi all,

3 months back I purchased a new Dell Black Inspiron 5348 Desktop PC and Windows 8 on it. In the beginning everything worked very well.

But from last 4 days onwards I am not able to open Firefox. When I tried to open it, I got an error saying  that  Firefox  stopped working. After that I opened Chrome but that also Gave me the same problem. All my drivers and Anti Virus are up-to-date. Tam not able to find out the problem exactly.

Can somebody please suggest me how to fix this problem? Your valuable suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Unable to start Firefox and Google Chrome

This sometimes happens with the factory installed software. The quickest fix, rather than play around with the settings and extensions, is to simply uninstall and reinstall Chrome and Firefox.

First, uninstall manually. Select Programs under the Windows Control Panel to uninstall. Then download the latest installer direct from Firefox and Google. The whole process should take less than 15 minutes.
