Hello
I have tried to open Task Manager but I don’t understand why I can’t start it. Then I’ve right clicked on the taskbar as well as ctrl+alt+delete process but I still can’t start it. I have been researching some forums but still I can’t understand where the main problem is. Then I have downloaded Hijack. This is what I have found but this is also unable to recognize what to remove to fix my problem.
Need your help to solve this. Thanks in advance.
Unable to start Task Manager
Hello Maribel Myers.
Since you have tried several times pressing ctrl-alt-delete with no positive results, try to press control, shift, and escape in combination. If the application still fails to launch, it can also be activated by right-clicking on the Windows task bar and select “task manager” from the pop-up menu. Also there’s a possibility that the task manager may be disabled.
You can enable it by modifying the associated Microsoft Windows registry entry. To do this, click start button, Click run and type regedit and press enter. Then go to"HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies then double-click on the option for, "System." Under this menu, double click "DisableTaskMgr" and change the data value to, "0." Exit the registry editor to save the changes. Restart your computer.
I hope this has helped you.

Unable to start Task Manager
The only thing I can think of is that after trying to open by pressing ctl, alt, del, you then tried to 'open' the file again at the same time and did no give your PC enough time to work on opening it. You might have to try and use the help, recover utility, and recover system files to an earlier date to get your task manager back, as it sounds currupted. Just wait a wile, there are other experts here who will pick up on this soon today and might be able to help you with a quicker fix. Good Luck.
Unable to start Task Manager
Thanks Galarpe Miloni. I think the task manager is disabled so I followed what you said regarding REGEDIT. After editing the registry and rebooting, The task manager is now enabled. It’s working perfectly now. Thank you again for the help.
