Hi community.
I was trying to install Windows Server 2008 Standard 64-bit. It loaded the files successfully.
I went past the Windows "Install Now" button, but after that I received an error message.Â
See below.
Error:
Windows could not display the images available for installation.
The only way is to click Ok. It displayed "Please wait on the screen" then shut down. I’ve installed the updates while the server was in deployment: bios updates, other configuration updates, etc.
Has anyone faced this and succeeded to get around the issue? I’ve tested this all day long and tried every option I could try. The server components: – S5500BC and Xeon E5506 2.13GHz with 4 GiG Kingston KVR133D3D8R9S DDR3 (2 x2), all new out of the box.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot.

Unable to successfully install Windows Server 2008 Standard
Great day to you! I figured out your problem. I know that it is because you installed it manually. Try to solve the issue by installing it using the CD installation wizard but read every step for you to supply right configuration requirements.Â
Be patient and do it in a very technical way. Make sure not to omit a step or have an error in entries. You need also to install RAID drivers if you are using RAID. That will give you a perfect match and not to have irritating error again in the future. I hope this can help.
Unable to successfully install Windows Server 2008 Standard
I think there is no problem with your computer’s hardware specifications. It is already above the required minimum system requirements of the operating system. I think it is not the hardware that has the problem.
You need to check if your installer CD of Windows Server 2008 64-bit version is really working or not. Or it is possible that it is faulty or broken.
As far as the system requirements of Windows Server 2008 64-bit is concern, your computer is compatible to run it. Try obtaining another copy of the installer CD. I really think your Windows Server 2008 64-bit installer CD is kind of faulty.
