Unable to sync iCloud with Mac

I am running OS X Lion on my Mac PC. I cannot sync iCloud with my Mac. When I typed the information of my contacts on my computer, it does not appear on my iOS devices and it could not reach iCloud. What is causing this? How can I fix this issue?

Hello Jacob Hill,

I will suggest that you set up the account that has the contacts on the Mac through  icloud, and when done that you will need to change all the events that are set in icloud and see if that will solve the problem. Once you are done with the synchronization you can then delete the contacts from the mac, in case you just need to have them on the icloud and they do the syncing once again.

It you have a lot of contacts the process may take quite a lot of time before it finishes but it will eventually solve your problem.
