Hello,
I am currently using windows vista on my system. The antivirus I am using is Microsoft Security Essentials, but now, I want to switch over to Panda antivirus. I tried to uninstall the Microsoft security essentials antivirus, but the system doesn't let it go. An error appears on the screen, which shows only the code, and that is:
'code 8007066F'.
How can I understand what this number means when it is not described properly? Not even a single word is written for describing this code.
Can anyone help me resolve this problem? How can I uninstall this antivirus without resulting in any errors?
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.
Waiting for your help.
Regards.

Unable to uninstall the Microsoft security essentials antivirus
At first you have to close your security software. To close it click right button on task bar & select task manager. Then click on processes tab. Then find Microsoft security essential and click on END PROCESS. After that you can remove it.
Unable to uninstall the Microsoft security essentials antivirus
Hi there user:
Okay, here’s what you need to do to uninstall the MSE. Click the start button, then type the Search Program and Files on the search box. Click the Regedit. Right click the Computer and then Export. Delete registry subkeys for Microsoft Security Essential (MSE). Open the Task Manager, click the Process tab, click msseces.exe and then click end process. That’s it. You may uninstall your MSE now from your Control Panel.
Thanks for asking.
