Unable to view Picasa error message

I have been getting this annoying error message from the past few hours. Does anyone know what this means?

The server may be a little bit broken temporarily. Please try again in a few moments while it sorts itself out.

I am using the Picasa web gallery in order to upload my photo albums. It was all up and running fine, and all of a sudden it came up with this error message.

I was trying to upload a few photos to my latest album and I am not able to do so now. I am not able to perform any action (Delete/Rearrange) on my albums.

Is that an issue with the website or is this something related to my PC? I am trying to work on a Windows Vista machine.

Unable to view Picasa error message

Hi JamesCox,

You can resolve this problem easily by following this method.

• Firstly you have to uninstall the current version of Picasa installer. Then you need to download Picasa Installer directly, from Google’s site. Although you can find many version of Picasa installer from other sites,  they are not reliable and contain strong viruses.

• After downloading the installer, run it by double clicking on it. If it will not work then reboot your computer and try again. It occurs when Picasa is running on the background. Go to task manager and shut down Picasa3.exe.

• If it  occurs two more times, then re-download it by using a different browser and install it.

• After installation restart your computer and try to open Picasa.
