Understanding RSA two factor authentication.

Hello! RSA two factor authentication is technology helpful in securing networks using two-factor authentication. This authentication system consists of either a hardware token or a software token. The user has to type in a unique passcode without which user cannot access the RSA secured network.

This unique passcode consists of user ID as well as token code at the time of log in. The RSA system is responsible for the display of token code during login and also the allowance or denial of access to the secured network. I hope this helps!
