While uninstalling ‘MetaFrame Presentation Server’ from a server which is in my farm, I got the following error message.
Error 29501. Setup has determined that Application Isolation Environments exist on this server.
Remove all of these before continuing with uninstallation.
My server’s address is enclosed in ‘an isolation environment definition’. I can’t guess what the problem is.
Can you?
Please help ASAP.
Uninstalling ‘MetaFrame Presentation Server’ – Error 29501
Hi Hollis!
You will need to force uninstalling MetaFrame Presentation Server by adding“CTX_MF_FORCE_SUBSYSTEM_UNINSTALL” and set the value to “YES”. Run your command prompt to add it. Here is the syntax of the code: “msiexec /x mps.msi /L*v c:output.log CTX_MF_FORCE_SUBSYSTEM_UNINSTALL=YES”.
Before attempting to uninstall Citrix Presentation Server, you must remove all isolation environments. Also, if you do this on a server hosting the data store, it will delete server farms’ isolation environment definitions.
