Unlock Mac file for Windows

Hello everyone! I am an avid apple user. I already own a macbook, and just recently I bought an imac. However, there are some issues regarding owning both devices. I need to unlock mac file for windows, but the files that I am able to unlock on my macbook cannot be unlocked on my imac. I don't understand why and I can't figure out how to fix this. Can you please help me with this problem?

Unlock Mac file for Windows

Hi Furby,

                This has been a very long story as you can unlock windows files in MacBook but not in iMac. You can either unlock it in windows and then transfer the file to your iMac. However there are suggestions that you can try to unlock your windows files using the “rm” command. Make sure though that you have administrator privileges plus the administrator password to do this.
