Unlock MacBook Air Even Without NIP

Hey,

My MacBook air got locked. The only way to unlock it is that I enter its NIP, but unfortunately, I forgot what my NIP is. How can I recover the password or log in without a NIP without the need to reinstall the system? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Mr. Alonzo Smith

Hope This Steps Would Solve Your Problem

•  If the Mac is running, Restart it
• Hold the Apple/Command Key + S after you hear the chime.
• When you get text prompt enter these commands: 
  "mount -uw /" now press enter
• Next type this command:
  "rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone" now press enter
•  Next the last command:
  "shutdown -h now"
   
  Now when you boot the computer back up you will get the New User Setup. Follow the steps and you will get a new Administrator user account. Log in to the account. To change the password, just goto System Preferences> Accounts.Now select the account you want to change the password to. Click Change password and Enter your the new password. To delete the account you just created, Select the account and press the minus.
   Now you can log in to your account with the new password
