Update errors: VLC media player

My VLC media player fails to be updated and even just to check update.

VLC version 0.9.9 on WinXP.

I got error messages. please tell me the way to fix it.

Update errors: VLC media player

 

Dear User,

You can try following solutions to fix this problem.

First make sure you are well connected to internet and connection is stable.

Sometime if your connection isn’t stable it would cause this problem.

And then make sure you firewall or the anti-virus system isn’t blocking VLC from accessing the internet. If so add an exception to them or disable them until the update Is done.

If none of that fixes your problem. Go to VLC website and download the newer version and install it.
