Update HP MediaSmart DVD Error

I have HP HDX X16T-1200 laptop computer and there’s HP Health Check installed in my laptop. I updated it but an error message occurred stating this: “The product definition file lost. ” I will definitely appreciate your suggestions on resolving this issue.

Update HP MediaSmart DVD Error

Hi,

• Download CCleaner and employ it to uninstall the version of Media Smart DVD.
• When it completes use its registry cleaner and restart, run the registry cleaner again and if it discovers more, restart. Carry on this operation until it gets nothing.
• Next go to Start- > Computer- > Dive C – > Program Files (x86) – > Hewlett-Packard – > Media. If you find a folder in Media named DVD, remove it. That is Media Smart DVD and it is supposed to be vanished.
• After you remove it run the registry cleaner again and pursue the same procedure as before until it gets no more registry files.
• If you do not find the DVD folder then you have completed.
• Install this latest version of Media Smart DVD and reboot your computer.
• Save the download to the desktop and install it from there, not from a temporary folder.
• A command prompt window will open saying you not to close it and when the installation is almost complete, some more will flash on the screen.
• If the corrupted update from HP Health Check did not harm your player and everything works, then do not pursue this procedure. Do not be anxious about what HP Health check told you.
• If anyone here is running Comodo firewall that will also have a bad influence on MS DVD.
• Comodo firewall blocks one or more of Media Smart DVD's registry files, and you should notify Comodo to let them in, in the advanced settings.

To resolve your problem simply download a software and install it. Then run the software.  

 

After the installation you will be able to update the
