My operating system had some problem. So I re-installed it. After re-installing of my OS. I updated the soft from Microsoft. When I checked the Add/remove list, they were not listed, as they always were before.
Is this a new thing or has something gone wrong?
Updates are not listed in Add/Remove Program
Hello Jacob Jackson,
Here’s your question:
My operating system had some problem. So I re-installed it. After re-installing of my OS. I updated the soft from Microsoft. When I checked the Add/remove list, they were not listed, as they always were before. Is this a new thing or has something gone wrong?
This happens if Operating System is re-installed or reformats. Windows applications and the latest updates of your computer will be wiped out. By default, updates in add/removed program is empty. As soon as you try to go online, certain websites requires plugged-ins. It will tell you what programs and features that you’re computer doesn't have and it requires upgrades.
What you need to do is install the required plugged-ins and updates when ever is needed. As we will be having a hard time identifying what those are. Usually, adobe, tool bars and other updates are the ones need to install.
