I have upgraded my PC with spec:
Core i7 2600k
GA z68ma D2h B3
Ram Corsair 8gb
PSU superflower 550
VGAÂ MSIÂ nx8800GTS
Hard disk Seagate 250 GB
I arranged them alone, successfully installed windows 7, Mabo, VGA etc. And suddenly my VGA became artifact.
Was my VGA damaged?
Or I arranged it in wrong place?
Upgrade CPU, VGA become Artifact
Hey Henryjames,
There are some possible reasons due to which your VGA card becomes artifact.
1. First of all make sure your Ram is working properly. You can use Memtest to check your Ram whether it is working fine or not. Your Ram can be one of the reasons.
2. Make sure that you have installed the latest drivers for your VGA card. I will recommend you Driver genius which will update your drivers according to your windows.
3. Turn your Fan at 100% and check your temperature of the GPU. If it is high, it will be the reason for your card to become an artifact.
4. If all options above are checked and you still face the problem, then there must be some issue in your VGA. Go and replace it. Or send it for warranty claim if it is in warranty.
Thanks.
Upgrade CPU, VGA become Artifact
Hi there
Do not worry at all.
If you want to fix this simple problem just follow a few steps:
- First check your RAM. I mean just open your RAM and insert it again into your motherboard.
- Download a driver updater from this link: https://www.drivereasy.com
I think your problem will be solved.
